At Sea on Passage to Malta

 17/11/2025

It is a leisurely day at sea with mild sea conditions and moderate winds. Tomorrow we will arrive at Valetta at around 8 am. Malta is the furthest we will travel to the East, before heading West to Tunisia on 19th November. We will have 2 nights in Malta, so looking forward to spending some quality time there.

Our progress so far (we eventually return to Barcelona where we started)

There was a good lecture on the history of Malta this morning, and an informative Port talk this afternoon providing more detail on the shore excursions available for the 2 days we are in port. Overall it looks like it will be an interesting few days.

Tonight is lobster night at the restaurant with generous serves of tasty spiny lobster available.

Arrival in Valetta should be interesting as we will be right in the city. It sounds like there may be another very large vessel coming into port later that day. Valetta is a pretty small place, so it could be busy.
